🚗 Getting There
About 6–7 hours from Lynden / Bellingham, including the ferry. Here's the breakdown:

To Tsawwassen terminal. Arrive 30–60 min early to claim your reservation.
⛴️ Ferry crossing
Tsawwassen (Vancouver) → Duke Point (Nanaimo).

From Duke Point across the island to Ucluelet.

Gone Fishin' Shop ↗ sells licenses & gear. Stop on your drive — the Port Alberni location ↗ is about halfway from the ferry to Ucluelet.
Prices are 2026/27 DFO rates and do not include GST. Resident-of-Canada rates are lower (3-day $13.54, annual $25.86).

- No fishing poles, tackle, or bait. It's all on the boat.
- No room payment. The lodging is on Troy.
