Ucluelet sits in Area 23 (Barkley Sound / Alberni). The offshore Chinook & halibut grounds (the "Big Bank") and Tofino side fall in Area 24 (Clayoquot Sound). DFO posts in-season changes as Fishery Notices (linked under Verify Live).
